TRAVEL POLICY
Our mission is to empower dialysis patients and their families to explore the world together, build friendships, and create unforgettable memories.

Below you will find a few basic guidelines on how our group operates and how we travel together safely, respectfully, and with shared joy.
Who are the trips for?
Our trips are designed primarily for patients undergoing hemodialysis and their partners. These participants will always have priority when registering for a trip.
If a patient wishes to bring more than one companion (such as children, relatives, or friends), this is also possible if you contact our team during registration.
Please note that for dialysis patients over 75 years of age, we require a doctor’s note confirming that the patient is fit to join the trip.
Unfortunately, our current trips are not suitable for patients who use wheelchairs or are unable to walk independently. We are, however, continuously working to make our future programs more accessible for everyone.
Official language
Because our groups are international, all communication within the group, as well as the booking process and dialysis arrangements, are conducted in English.
It is required that at least one person in each pair (patient or companion) speaks English. This ensures smooth communication during the trip and, if needed, accurate translation and understanding during dialysis treatments and general activities.
How to register for a trip
To register for a trip, select Let's go or Waiting list. Make sure to enter the email address you use regularly. We will then contact you with all the information about the trip, including hotels we will be staying in, travel recommendations, and the results we require for dialysis reservation. We will also send you an invoice by email, excluding the flight ticket. You can register for a trip up to 30 days before departure. Payment for the trip can be made in multiple installments, depending on the registration date.
Trip price & Cancellation
The price covers hotel with breakfast, airport and dialysis transfers, dialysis booking assistance, a group dinner, and a dedicated travel manager.
Not included: flights, extra meals (so everyone can eat according to their needs), and optional tours or excursions.
Cancellation & Refunds:
-
Full refund if canceled up to 14 days before the trip, after this date, 50% refund
-
In case of medical necessity with doctors note, a full refund is provided even for last-minute cancellations.
Plane tickets
Plane tickets are not included in the trip price, as costs can vary greatly for international travelers from different countries.
You can purchase your tickets independently with your preferred airline, or we can assist you free of charge in finding the best available fare.
Please note that plane tickets are non-refundable. Any changes, cancellations, or name corrections must be handled directly with the airline. We strongly recommend arranging travel insurance with the airline to cover unexpected situations.
Dialysis reservation
We will book your dialysis appointments on your behalf, but you are also welcome to make the bookings yourself if you prefer. To make a reservation, we will need to ask your doctor for dialysis documents. We will send the required documentation to you by email after registration.
In accordance with GDPR, you will need to agree to our privacy policy during registration. By checking the “Agree with Privacy Policy” button, you give your consent for us to collect and forward your medical documentation to the dialysis center selected to provide your treatments during the trip. After the trip, we will erase your personal and medical information.
