I travelled to Dubai on dialysis and wanted to share how it went, so you know what to expect before you go.
The dialysis care
The clinic was good. The team was warm and professional, the center was clean, and the machines were modern. I felt well looked after from the start. On the care side, I have nothing to complain about.

One thing to know: the marker's/sreology fee
This is the tip I wish someone had told me. On your first dialysis session in Dubai, they are required by law to take new markers (blood tests) before treatment. It is not optional, everyone coming from abroad has to do it. It costs around €100 extra, on top of the normal dialysis price. It is easy to handle if you know in advance, so just add it to your budget and there will be no surprise when you arrive.
What it costs
As a rough guide: around €300 per session, plus the one-time €100 markers fee on your first visit. Prices can change, so check when you book, but this gives you an idea of what to plan for.

Would I recommend Dubai?
Yes. As long as you know about the marker's fee, it is a good place to dialyse. The care was solid and the city is worth seeing.
We organise group trips for dialysis patients, so you do not have to plan it all alone.
