I travelled to Valencia on dialysis and wanted to share how it went, so you know what to expect before you go.
The dialysis care
The dialysis was at Diaverum in Paterna, a direct and short metro ride from the city center. They did not allow filming inside, but if you have been to one Diaverum, you know the drill: clean, professional, and reliable, with consistent quality wherever you are in the world.
The food
The dialysis food situation? Cookies and coffee.
What it costs
Valencia is in Spain, so if you are an EU patient you can use your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Bring a valid card, and it should cover your dialysis. Confirm the details when you book.

They use their own form.
Would I recommend Valencia?
Yes. It is one of my absolute favorite cities: stunning architecture, vibrant street life, the birthplace of paella, and that warm Mediterranean energy that just makes you smile. The dialysis was clean and professional too.
We organise group trips for dialysis patients, so you do not have to plan it all alone.
