Dialysis in Split, Croatia: Review of KBC Split Hospital

I travelled to Split on dialysis and wanted to share how it went, so you know what to expect before you go.
The dialysis care
The center is in the Split hospital, an older building with real character. But inside there are new Fresenius machines and some of the friendliest staff I have come across on my travels. They made me feel completely welcome from the very first moment.
The food
I dont know what was thet. Hospital food...
What it costs
Croatia accepts the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), so if you are an EU patient bring a valid card and it should cover your dialysis. Confirm the details when you book.

What you need to bring:
A medical report.
Viral marker results.
Your most recent test results.
A valid European Health Insurance Card.
A passport copy.
They do not have their own form.
Would I recommend Split?
Yes. Do not let the old building any hospital food fool you: modern machines, wonderful staff, and one of the most beautiful cities on the Dalmatian coast right outside.
